-Coders,

following up my "5.3.1.pre2 build test status" report a month ago
(http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=15624049), here's
an update for 5.3.1.rc1.

The following issues have been resolved:

8) RHEL/x86_64 3, 4: test #36 fails (after SIGHUP)
9) HP-UX 10.20: apps/snmpnetstat linker error (unsatisfied symbols
ntohl, ntohs)

The other issues (from the 5.3.1.pre2 report) still exist.

There's also yet another one I discovered recently:

11) Solaris 2.6: "AgentX subagent in Perl" test (#44, T115agentxperl)
fails because the agent exits early with "init_kmem: kvm_open failed:
Permission denied". While I find it questionable whether the library
really needs to init_kmem() for a subagent, there's perl code that
should actually prevent this:

     netsnmp_ds_set_boolean(NETSNMP_DS_APPLICATION_ID,
                            NETSNMP_DS_AGENT_NO_ROOT_ACCESS, 1);

Why does it abort, then?

We still need people to report build test status for *BSD (which isn't
covered by my build farm and SF CF is down). Anyone?
