Hi Thomas and all.

Detailed description of the problem:
ReadHat Linux 3.9.0 Enterprise Edition. Kernel 2.6.9-1.648
Net-snmp 5.3.0.1
1> ./configure runs fine.
2> make - keeps on running infintely, since it keeps on configuring.

Gives following error:

running config.status because following files has been changed:
Makefile.in config.status Makefile.rules Makefile.top

3> There is no nfsd server running on the machine. And trying this in directory
/tmp/net-snmp5.3.0.1/

Archana

Wild-guessing: Is your source/build dir on NFS and the clocks are out of
sync? If so, try to to build on local disk (e.g. /tmp/xxx) instead.
Otherwise, you'd need to tell us more details (Red Hat version, make
output, ...).
