Hi,
I am using net snmp version 5.3.0.1 on cygwin and it's up and running. snmpget.exe and snmpset.exe are working fine. I have windows GUI based SNMP Manager developed using "snmp++v3.16c" smi library. Using this application when do set, SNMP agent returns a error saying "Set, Failed - SNMP: Variable does not exist, 1.3.6.1.4.1.14399.20.12.1.108.3.1". The reason is latest SNMP requires .0 at the end of OID for set request. Where as SNMP Manager will just send OID without adding .0 at the end of OID.
There is no problem in Get operation with windows tool.
Is there any way in agent to accept the set requests with and without .0 at the end of OID?
Thanks and Regards,
Jags.
