When starting snmptrapd with -Ddump I get following output :
dumph_recv: SNMPv2c message
dumph_recv: VarBindList
dumph_recv: VarBind
dumpv_recv: ObjID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero.0
dumpv_recv: UInteger: 3566 (0xDEE)
dumph_recv: VarBind
dumpv_recv: ObjID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero.0
dumpv_recv: ObjID: ELITECORE-MIB::elitecore.4.0.2
Those two varbinds look broken - they ought to have a "real" OID rather than .0.0
what should I do now?
Complain to the vendor of whatever box is generating these traps :-)
