I don't think it's the HAL code - it appears to be a deficiency in the
scalar_group helper (or possibly the higher-level MIB registry
handling).    The two individual scalar objects seem to be taking
precedence over the main scalar group registration, despite the OIDs
being different.
  I've committed a temporary workaround, but it's not really a proper
fix.  I'll try and have a better look at this tonight.
