The only machines affected are those reporting their statistics from picld.
Of those, the only ones having the bug are the 240-class machines including
netra-240.  I don't have one to test, but I've sent the code to the poster
on -users having the original problem.

I did run the code on a V880.  It did successfully find the 'fan' class, but
didn't report the number 'cause it's actually a fan-tachometer value, which
it reports successfully.  If it reported both, it'd be doing it twice.  All
my other machines either don't report the value, or use kstat.
