http://pastebin.ca/266868 contains the log file.. i'm not sure what to look for - it seems like it parses fine

Hmmmm...   That almost sounds as if the agent isn't supporting
the DisMan stuff at all.   Though in that case, I'd expect it to
complain about the "monitor" line.

Ummmm...

Try
    snmpd -f -Lf log.txt  -Dread_config

What does that show?
