Hi

when i update the MIB-2 System Group parameters ie) System Name, System
Contact, System Location the snmpd.conf file picks up the changes and my
code uses SIGHUPCOMMAND ="pkill -SIGHUP -U root snmpd"
so i dont have to restart the snmpd services when i query using
iReasoning MIB browser the changes reflect

when MIB-2 System Group parameters are updated as null or blank values
the snmp.conf picks up the changes and still the code uses SIGHUPCOMMAND
="pkill -SIGHUP -U root snmpd" but when i query using iReasoning MIB
browser the changes dont reflect it shows up with the previous values i
manually need to restart the snmpd services and then query for the
changes to reflect

This happens only with blank values if i updated with any other values i
dont have to restart the services manually

Without restarting the snmpd services i need to get the blank values
when queried

Is anyone aware of this issues kindly help how do i go about this

Net-Snmp Version 5.3.0.1
iReasoning MIB Browser (Personal Edition) Ver 2.5.1

I would appreciate if you could mail me with your responses
