Bad news:
This fragment does indeed *not* work on the two pre-Posix
Bourne shells I have access to (HP-UX /usr/old/bin/sh, and Sun /bin/sh)
Good news:
EXE_PATH=`dirname $0`
*does* work, and gives the same result.
Is it worth trying with that instead, and see how things go?
