We have just released the first pre-release candidate for
the upcoming version 5.2.4. This is available from the
project website at

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=12694&package_id=11571&release_id=486948

Please give it a whirl and let us know what breaks. There
are a number of changes that need testing on a wide range
of platforms, so any feedback would be good!

This is primarily a bug-fix release for the 5.2.x line,
so there shouldn't be any major changes over 5.2.3.
The most significant are:

    snmpd:
      - handle row deletion issues in dataset tables
      - [BUG 1527930]: fix smux authentication

    library:
      - *really* make SNMPv3 traps work again (user creation;
announced as fixed in 5.2.3, but this wasn't the case)
      - [PATCH 1553447]: responses will get sent from the
original dest IP address when possible.

    Perl:
      - gettable() was fairly broken in the 5.3.1 release.
      - OID handling and NMP.pm fixes for 64-bit platforms
      - Fixed the perl bulkwalk function

See the (new) CHANGES file for details of specific bug
fixes, etc.
