I'm writing a mib module for application monitoring of
java processes running on the host. The single
extension will handle all requests that fall under my
company's enterprise OID.
Each process will have a it's own MIB file that will
be deployed into /usr/share/snmp/mibs. The app MIBs
will reside under my company's enterprise OID.
I'm planning on converting the request OID (in text
form) into JMX request.
I've got pretty much everything worked out except for
when the request is a 'getnext'.
Is there an easy way (that I am missing) to ask the
mib_api for the next OID?
If not, should/could I use an oid_stash to create an
in memory mapping that I can load from my enterprise
MIB and interrogate for getnext requests?
