Hi,
I have to send traps rather than inform in my case. I do not want to handle
the case of ack's from inform.
The agent will send the trap using the its engine id rather than the remote
server's engine ID.
I need to create user with this agent's engine id on the remote server (trap
receiver). My query is:
1. Can i configure the trap destination in the agent snmpd.conf file using
the 'trapsess' directive ?
2. If I can, then in that case do i need to create a user explicitly on the
agent also as 'trapsess' creates a user implicitly ?
Please guide me here.
