Hi everybody,

We are bundling netsnmp 5.4.1 with our product. While there is a default
path to which we recommend the installation to be done, we don't have
(and don't wish to have) any control on the path to which the
installation is being made.

Out problem is that at least on HPUX (and probably AIX) unless we missed
a configuration options, the result of the configuration/make cycle is
shared library which "looks" for the libraries it depends on, only at
the paths for which it was compiled and don't search for them at the
path defined in the SHLIB_PATH enviroment variable.

What we need a way to pass a -Wl,+s option to the libtool at the
configuration time in addition to the options generate in the
configuration process. Any other recommendations will be appreciated as
well.

Thanks,
 Mark.
