I am pretty new to the SNMP so my answer is under limitation,
The definition of the oid is: <typedef u_char oid;> so there is a limitation
at it's content so the value can not be done

Subject: macaddress as Index.

Hi All ,

is there is any way to give the mac address in OID

.1.3.6.1.4.1.28663.4.99.16.1.1.2.0016CFE08701 instead of the decimal values of
mac address .

Please reply as soon as possible...
