Hi all, I have used the net-snmp library to create an output module for rsyslog (www.rsyslog.com). It very simple, the output module uses a OCTET_STRING variable with the OID "1.3.6.1.4.1" (.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises) to send the Syslog message as trap.
My question to this group now is, if there are any other suitable or recommended OID's which can be used for this? Or should I go one step further and create my own custom MIB for this?
