Hi ,
I have some doubts regarding snmpd transport specifier option. I read in
the manpages that we can make snmpd listen on a specific ipaddress with the
command :
snmpd <ipaddress>:<port>.
I was able to do snmp operations through vlan interface eth0.2 using the
above command by giving the ip address of eth0.2. I ran my manager in
another PC alco configured with vlan interface 2.
But actually, in the product that I am working has the same ip address
configured for eth0 and eth0.2 . Is it possible to tell snmpd to listen only
on eth0.2 and not on packets from eth0 in such a case?.
