Duplex status is a concept that is particularly applicable
to Ethernet (and similar) networks. It is covered by the
MIB object EtherLike-MIB::dot3StatsDuplexStatus  (RFC 3635)

Model, vendor, version, etc - would probably be covered by
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceDescr

> I was thinking if this could be added to the Interface MIB.

I do not believe that would be appropriate (since duplex isn't
relevant to many types of interface), or necessary (since this
information is already covered by existing MIB objects).

Also, please remember that this mailing list is specifically
intended for support of one particular implementation of SNMP.
It is not a general-purpose SNMP forum.
   And it is *definitely* the wrong place for suggesting changes
to international standards. If you wish to propose updates
to IETF MIBs, then you should raise this with the appropriate
IETF working group.
   They can update IETF standards - we can not.
