solaris% ls -l agent/kernel.o
-rw-r--r--   1 anders   anders      1772 Aug 18 08:10 agent/kernel.o
solaris% grep HAVE_KVM_H include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h
#define HAVE_KVM_H 1

FWIW, this problem happens on *all* of my Solaris 7, 8, 9 and 10 builds,
but not on 2.6.
