Hi,
I am compiling net-snmp under freebsd and was wondering what
would be the best version to use. There are two sets of servers I am
building this from, one would be: Freebsd 4.11 and the other is
Freebsd 7.x. What versions would you suggest for both builds? I
understand that most people will let me know that I should upgrade the
freebsd 4.11 servers but at this current moment, this is not an
immediate possibility but we are moving to Freebsd 7.x. I am asking
more for the interim while I upgrade.
Ports lists:
net-snmp 5.4.1.2_2
net-snmp4 4.2.7.1
net-snmp53 5.3.2_3
Also, there is a note about the PHP api to net-snmp being out of date.
Is there a particular version that is stable with the latest php ?
