Hi All,
We are facing problems in the usage of context in snmp version 3 validations.
We have created snmp access with context and the match type as exact. When we
tried to query the snmp mibs using the particular access, we found that the
snmp request was denied. On further debugging the net-snmp code, we found that
the context value was not populated in the context_subtree. For every snmp
request the validation is performed for the provided snmp context (in the snmp
get command) against the contents of the context sub-tree. As the context name
parameter in the context sub-tree is empty.
It looks like the function add_snmp_subtree is responsible for populating these
parameters of this sub-tree, not sure if this is happening. Have any of you
experienced this same error?????? Do any of you have any suggestions, kindly
let us know.
