Hi,
I needed a little helping in using the NetSNMP package/api.
We are writing few components that are going to be reporting statistics,
alarms and pulling configurations from an SNMP server.
How do I go about using NetSNMP for this task. I have used SNMP before and
understand the basics, but I am very rusty right now and would love to get
some help on how this can be achieved.
I am envisioning a NetSNMP server on the linux box with NetSNMP Agent APIs
being used by the components to achieve this task. The only thing I am
having trouble with is statistics, are statistics pulled by the server and
if so can I get some sample code for an implementation of this, that would
be great.
Also if there are any resources to get us going on writing our MIB files,
converting into C headers and using in our components, that would be great.
