- Ensure that the software has been configured with IPv6 support
(you may need to re-run "configure --enable-ipv6" and recompile)
- Configure access control for SNMPv1/SNMPv2c
(use "rocommunity6" as well as "rocommunity")
- Start the agent up so that it listens on both IPv4 and IPv6 ports
( snmpd .... udp:161 'udpv6:[::1]:161' - note the quotes)
