Well, you haven't exactly given us much to work with!
(Like any indication of which version of the code you are using,
how you are starting the agent, what else might be logged, etc).
My guess is that there's something in the snmpd.conf file that
the agent doesn't like. Try looking at this file, and see whether
anything includes a single quote. If so, try commenting this
out, and restarting the agent.
If you're not sure where the problem might lie, try starting the
agent using
snmpd -f -Le -Dread_config
which will show the agent processing the config file.
That might help pinpoint where the problem lies.
