Respected Sirs,
Im new to Net-SNMP and am currently working on a college project on it.
Sir,Im facing the below mentioned problems which is greatly hindering my
work.If any of you all can help me out with the same I would be very grateful
to you.I have gone through the source code and try to put snmp_log messages in
the snmp_agent and snmp_api files to understand the code flowbut it was of no
avail as none of those messages are appearing on the snmplog file.
The problems are as mentioned below:
1)Where to make the changes in the
net-snmp source code so that net-snmp would refer to my custom mib
while doing an “snmpget or snmpset” on the terminal?
2)Where to add database connectivity
statements in the net-snmp code so that the fetched queries or
changed parameters from the proposed simulator could be stored in the
database before being displayed to the end-user?
3)Where to add the api calls to the
net-snmp source code so that net-snmp could refer to a proposed network
element proposed
simulator for getting or setting the parameter values?
Sir,your inputs on these issues would
be of great help to me and would greatly facilitate my work.
