That's outstanding!  Sorry my appeal was a bit stronger than necessary; I'd 
developed the (incorrect) impression that the issue was not getting any 
attention.  I'm certainly in no position to throw stones where it comes to bug 
tracker-wrangling.  Thanks for the update.

That's perfect, at least the OpenNMS charting and thresholding code can do the 
math.  I'll look up the new object and update our default SNMP collection 
definitions to use it once it becomes widely available.

Most of our customers just use "whatever's in the box", and I'm sure there are 
running jokes on this list about distro-lag's unusually strong effect on the 
Net-SNMP packages.  I'll do what I can to encourage distribution maintainers to 
pick up these upstream fixes when they become part of a release.
