Thank you for the information, with vs2010 pro, I had no problem opening the
dsp files, which are converted successfully.

Without spending much time on trouble shooting, just trying to build all the
projects, the following libraries are missing:

Net-snmp/output_api.h
Net-snmp/types.h
Net-snmp/net-snmp-includes.h
Net-snmp/library/getopt.h
Net-snmp/library/mt_support.h
Net-snmp/version.h
Net-snmp/library/snmpCallbackDomain.h
net-snmp/library/snmpUDPIPv6Domain.h
net-snmp/library/system.h
sys/cdefs.h

the libraries are there, but as far as I can see not under the win32 directory,
if I include the libraries from the main directory, I get a lot of compiler
errors.

libhelpers is obsolete in Net-SNMP version 5.6, so you can ignore that error
message. Note: I have tried to build Net-SNMP 5.6 with Visual Studio 2010
Express myself, but that version refuses entirely to load any of the Net-SNMP
dsp files. So feedback about whether or not building Net-SNMP 5.6 with Visual
Studio 2010 succeeds is welcome.
