Hello Niels,
Using -Wno-strict-aliasing is wrong and may result in incorrect code
generation -- -fno-strict-aliasing should be used instead. IMHO this flag
should be added to CFLAGS by the configure script, together with a test
whether the configured compiler recognizes this flag.
