I don't know. I compiles in RHEL-3 (rpm-4.2.x) + there are some ifdefs 
that indicate it could be much earlier rpm version.

My change should not change any backward compatibility... 
rpmReadConfigFiles() should be provided by all rpm versions (as 
suggested by our core rpm developer, Panu Matilainen).

Panu sent me also a patch to fully compile with rpm-4.9, but the patch 
would drop compatibility with older rpm releases. I am in contact with 
him and I hope he will rework it so trunk compiles will all rpm versions 
higher than 4.1 (=more than decade ago in RHEL, SuSE/SLES and 
Mandriva/Mandrake). I hope that's enough for all the users.

And just FYI, rpm-4.9 beta hit rawhide just now, so I've compiled 
Net-SNMP with preliminary Panu's patches.
