Yup - that would explain why you're seeing the 'createUser' line
disappear, but not getting the 'usmUser' line added.

  (Checking the mail archives, I note that Robert raised
   this very issue when you first discussed using Ctrl-\.
    So you can't say you weren't warned :-))


Wes - is it worth trying to catch SIGQUIT,
and handling this in a similar way to SIGINT.
