No.   (IMO)

If somebody is trying to re-implement information that is
supplied as part of the default agent anyway,   I would suggest
that it is a good thing for them to be aware of the fact.

Allowing naive developers to do dangerous things without
realising is Not A Good Idea !    :-)

That's my tuppenceworth anyway.
