I install the net-snmp 5.5 with the following steps:
1 /configure --with-mib-modules="ucd_snmp ,smux " $OTHER_OPTIONS
2 make
3 make install
after I had started the snmpd service with the command of "snmpd -c
/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf", I found the smux was unavailable. After I had entered
the command "lsof -i:199", the answer was nothing.
Why is this ? How can I fix it.
