I don't believe so - no.

The tree structure (-Tp) is handled by the routine 'print_mib_leaves'
(in the file snmplib/parse.c).   That doesn't make any reference to
the description field.

The other output formats are handled within the snmptranslate
code itself,  which does consult the description flag.
