If you have any doubts, you can always read the source to see what it
actually does!

The best guarantee of the completeness/accuracy of this implementation
is to look at how widely it is used.   The software is shipped as the default
SNMP implementation in a large number of Unix distributions.
   That should tell you that it is generally accepted as working
according to spec.
