It works, but every request is mapped to the same usm_user under mac-ox.
So you are right, it is not ready for production use!
In my opinion, the ssh daemon can handle the authentication of  
different user, but
we can not use the view based access control to distinguish them under  
mac-ox.

But on linux, it works?
Or do you know any issues?
How does it works with traps or informs?

But at leased, it compiles and can serve as a demo.

For me it is a prototype for a different transport service we may need.
In this case, the NMS opens a secure transport connection and use it  
exclusive for
the hole time as long the net-element is accessible.
No other clients needed.

What is the state of the current ssh-transport at net-snmp?
Who is/was working on it?
