Niels-- Hi. These are the OS provided versions. I am running Linux Ubuntu 10.4 and 11.4. These were installed via "apt-get" from the command line.
I just checked a Windows agent that I built from source. It is running version 5.6, and this problem does not exist on that agent. Writing a '1' to the versionUpdateConfig.0 object causes the config to be reloaded as advertised, and the agent continues to function. Maybe the problem is with the older release versions that come through the Ubuntu software package manager? Thanks. --Todd SwRI On 11/29/11 2:48 PM, "Niels Baggesen" <[email protected]> wrote: >Den 29-11-2011 18:18, Newton, Todd A. skrev: >> I have had the same result on multiple linux machines, some running >> v5.4.2.1 and others v5.4.3. > >Is this OS provided packages, or are these versions vanilla releases >from the project? > >/Niels > >-- >Niels Baggesen - @home - Ã…rhus - Denmark - [email protected] >The purpose of computing is insight, not numbers --- R W Hamming ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more.
