Hi,
Can any one tell me why the file type of snmpd is shown as "shell script
text executable" instead of
"ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically
linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.32, stripped"
[root@volga agent]# pwd
software/net-snmp-5.5/agent
[root@volga agent]# file snmpd
*snmpd: POSIX shell script text executable -----------------> ?*

I am not able to run gdb with this snmpd.

How should I compile to get all gdb symbols in snmpd ?
Thanks...................
