Hello, I have a SNMP subagent which was working like a charm in the Solaris 10 OS which did not have net-snmp (instead SMA belonging to SUN was used as a master SNMP agent). Now that I migrated to Solaris 11 environment which has net-snmp as the master SNMP agent and SMA is not present post OS installation.
net-snmp version used is 5.4.1. I am getting this when I am trying to 'get' using 'snmpget' command for the OID belonging to my subagent: Error in packet Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB. Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.... However, I am able to do snmpget for others, say 'snmpget -v1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.' Any idea why I get this? Is this the issue with my subagent or the main agent is not properly configured?
