If these are enterprise OIDs being written by your own group, then I would have though you'd need the MIB files in place before you ever start writing code. The MIB is effectiovely your design document - it specifies what the MIB module code needs to implement. If you don't have the design in place before you start, how can you write the code? I know that our students have a tendency to write the code first, and then put together the design documentation based on that. But it's a bit worrying if the same sort of thing goes on in industry!
