I posted this to net-snmp-users but got no reply. Trying here. Thanks in

I am writing an SNMP agent on a microcontroller and I would like to test it
using net-snmp.

I need to be able to send commands (GET and SET) with the Request ID field (and
other fields later) set to arbitrary (or specific) values within the allowed
space. It seems that net-snmp uses random 32 bit values.

Looking through the manual, I did not see anything obvious to let me do that.

I am looking for some kind of command line option for instance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Didier

PS: I run net-snmp from CYGWIN under Win7
