You're correct (I just re-verified this), I was too hasty with my original report - very sorry about this. This was a consequence of two things: 1) I've been managing three net-snmp branches and wasn't being observant enough to clearly associate run-time results with the corresponding branches original configure status, and 2) on one of the branches I use NetBeans and it's integrated Git and autoconf capabilities and in this branch I see that the re-configure project settings had *two* --with-out-mib-modules statements.
