Hi, According to the following synopsis
https://www.akamai.com/us/en/multimedia/documents/state-of-the-internet/snmp-reflector-attacks-threat-advisory.pdf The remote SNMP daemon is responding with a large amount of data to a 'GETBULK' request with a larger than normal value for 'max-repetitions'. A remote attacker can use this SNMP server to conduct a reflected distributed denial of service attack on an arbitrary remote host. What is the actual ’max-repetitions' of NET-SNMP version 5.7.1 ? Is this value the same for version 5.8.x ? Thanks, Simon
