Net SNMP Coder,

I'm brand new at this, a noob. We have a working product running on an RTOS
that is an SNMP Agent and it provides several MIBs / OiDs to the outside world.
At this point I'm not even smart enough to know what questions I should be
asking.

We have decided to use Linux for our next project so I'm working on learning
Linux at the same time that I'm tasked with adding our Enterprise MBs to the
firmware of the new project. I have been Google-ing for days and my Google-Fu
is simply not good enough. Is there a tutorial out on the web that explains
this process? There are tons of devices that implement SNMP Agents so among
some people this must be well known and understood. I'd like to break into
that fraternity. Where is a good place to start learning how to add Enterprise
MIBs to snmpd?

The Google search that got me the closest was, "customizing ubuntu snmp agent"

Thanks,
Michael

Software is free! But, correctly placing all the ones and zeros is priceless.
