Dear All, 1. $ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.10.0.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.2
The above mentioned commands gets the MAC Address in the ARP cache. 2. $ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.10.0.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.2.1 In this commands i have added .1 in the end and it gives me the MAC address of static IP's in the ARP cache. 3. $ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.10.0.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.2.3 In this commands i have added .3 in the end and it gives me the MAC address of the local network IP's in the ARP cache. My question is what does this .1 and .3 means which i am adding in the end in 2 & 3 respectively. I will be thankful.
