Has someone done this before? FYI, the net-policy project (on sourceforge) provides a graphical interface for configuring a number of things in SNMP agents (and is being developed still, so its growing still). It'll configure entire networks of machines remotely on initialized agents. However, it won't do community strings as there is no supported snmp interface for community strings in Net-SNMP yet (IE, the SNMP-COMMUNITY-MIB isn't implemented). It can help you configure the VACM and USM for SNMPv3 though. -- Wes Hardaker Sparta ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one installation-authoring solution that does it all.
