Hi all,

I am using Net-SNMP 5.1.1 on Linux 2.4.21.

Is it possible to configure the agent that it only supports
a single version of SNMP (v1, v2c or v3) ?

The option '--with-default-snmp-version' seems to affect only the
command tools.

Or does the agent always support all 3 versions and I have to
set corresponding entries for access control in snmpd.conf ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Marco.
