Problems with snmptrapd deamon

I'm running the 5.1 net-snmp package but I cannot run the snmptrapd

I get the following error

> ./usr/local/sbin/snmptrapd -f
183294:./usr/local/sbin/snmptrapd: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: call to unresolved symbol from /usr/local/lib/libnetsnmp.so.5 (pc=0x300010734c8)

And I have no idea oh what to do, I checked that the library libsnmpnet is correctly built but I don't know how to go on from this....

Can anyone help me?
