I also tried using RH7.3, also 2.4.18, and the problem exists also. The bug is really not difficult to replicate. All the user should do is run a SET instruction on ipRouteMetric* and ipRouteIndex* objects. On my Linux system, such SET commands on said objects, always crash "snmpd". This is also evident in the older 5.1.1 release. SilverCreek did such tests that initiated the crash. I tried doing it manually, and lo and behold... the daemon does crash :o(.
