Hi Dave,
I am still not clear with your answer. Can you clarify my doubts with
some more details? I assumed that net-snmp is independent of mibs. But
from your answer I guess that net-snmp must be built for each and every
mib available in the market.
How to find that which object is RO and RW like that. I used
snmptranslate command and checked the R/W properties of the objects.and
I tried snmpset on the same.and it is giving error.

If I have to write some code... Can you give me a lead like what kind of
code with few examples?

You people may find my question silly,but still I expect a reply from
this list.

You didn't say SET - you were asking about GET.

No - that's correct.  We don't currently implement SET support for this
particular object.

You have to write some code.
