I can well believe that this is happening.
But I'd hesitate to describe it as "right".

As far as SNMP concerned, the AgentX-master/subagent conglomeration
is simply a single SNMP agent.   So if it generates a trap, then the
agent address field should be the same, regardless of where that
trap was triggered internally.

So I'd expect such a trap to use the address of the master agent.

(Not that I've checked the specs, mind)
