Hi everyone,
I suppose i have come actross this question before,
but it's a very important issue, so I'll ask it again
kindly.
The net-snmp daemon can be configured to check
processes/disks. for example:
disk / 10000
many people think that if the above mount point
grow up above 10M size , the net-snmp daemon
should send trap to the trap server(NMS, trapd....).
but it's not.
Of course i can write perl script that sends
query of disks and processes via SNMP_Util
and send trap to the NMS,
but isn't it the Agent job to do it automatically
( provide that we configured trap destination)
Thanks
